Marko Rakar is a communications consultant specializing in political communication through new media (all those who have off / on switch).
In his career, Marko Rakar dealt with the many and often
diametrically opposed activities, from programming and graphics
industry to high tech communication and social networks. He is a
founder and member of several Croatian associations for the
advancement of web entrepreneurship and the Internet in general, a
member of the European and the world international association of
political consultants. He has done a number of political campaigns,
and written hundreds of articles.
To the general public Rakar is known for his dark blog,
political collaborative blog pollitika.com, and the award "Top 10
who are changing the world of politics on the internet" awarded
last year from the World eDemocracy Forum. Last but not least
important, he is the only Croatian member of TED.
Marko Rakar is one of the people who run Ivo Josipovic's
presidential campaign, and the media called him the "architect" of
the e-president concept, who is currently on hold. What are the
problems (and opportunities) faced by the rulers of the
twenty-first century and how government could (and should) look
like, you can learn during his lecture. He will also provide you
with some of the possible reasons why project of the e-president
currently awaits.
